Yes. If the office workers have hybrid as an option, so should students.

Yes, the infrastructure and processes should stay in place to be used as an option for e.g., snow days, potentially another pandemic, or special days at a school's discretion

Kids suffer from a chronic lack of sleep. Leaving remote learning as an option for some days would be extremely beneficial for that

being remote would take away all their social skills though, and kids need that.

I think it should be an option for work but for school, no. Lost of students have told me that they just put on a youtube video or play video games while on zoom. I did the same thing on zoom and I almost failed the year. Going back to school my grade jumped by many times. Love, your friendly neighborhood war criminal

no, kids need to learn social skills and have human interaction

Kids learn a fraction when they are in a zoom call than when they are in person. When learning is completely electronic, it is so tempting to watch a YouTube video, go on your phone, turn your camera off and just not pay attention, etc. When kids are in person it is a lot harder to do those things.

No, kids are a lot less focused when doing online school. People just go on their phones and have no human connection at all.
