In a recent SCOTUSPoll, 62.3 percent of respondents opposed overturning Roe v. Wade, the 1973 precedent that established abortion rights. Just 37.8 percent of respondents believed the Supreme Court should do so. The 6-3 ruling is inherently undemocratic, as nine people do not and should not represent what Americans truly believe.
