Probably as automation will take over more and more of the manual labor jobs both blue collar and increasingly white collar. Yes, new jobs will be created but probably fewer so the the total number of jobs will be fewer. That could mean then that people work fewer hours on average (30 hours or 4 days a week)

Technology will always evolve and over medium- to longer term periods always create more (yet different) jobs. Remember the Luddites who destroyed textile machinery in the 19th century since they feared the 'new technology' that were the textile machines would destroy jobs?
